This unit equips students with skills to be able to identify the machine equipment, electric equipment, fire extinguishing system and elevator facilities. It will cover water-supply (potable and other) installation, hot water-supply installation, waste and vent system, waste purification system, gas system, heating system, air conditioning equipment and refrigeration equipment. Students will examine electrical and mechanical systems of buildings and apply their knowledge to the requirements of the case studies..
