This course is a continuation of the previous
course EE 2102 Circuit Theory. The purpose of this course is to
introduce students to the fundamental theory and mathematics for the
analysis of Alternating Current (AC) electrical circuits, frequency
response and transfer functions of circuits. The course also includes
circuit theorem and reduction techniques, domain analysis, phasor
analysis, basic filtering principles and applications, derivation of
transient responses of RC and RL circuits, steady state response of
circuits to sinusoidal excitation in time domain, application of
phasors to circuit analysis and AC steady-state analysis.
