The aim of this module is to prepare you for the dissertation that you will undertake during the second stage of your study. The aim is to build on previous knowledge of the research process and ensure that you have the skills that you need to undertake each stage from proposal through to submission. The module recognizes that research is undertaken by individuals who have different goals and will engage in a range of types of research so it should be seen as a starting point for you to explore alternatives and assess which approach is most suitable for your chosen study.
